Home Ground Games ("we", "us") operates the website at homegroundgames.com and its games. This policy describes what information is involved when you use the site, and your choices about it.
No accounts, no personal details
The games are free to play with no sign-up. We don't ask for — or knowingly collect — your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that identifies you personally in order to play.
Saved progress stays on your device
To let you resume a game and keep your personal bests, we store a small amount of data in your browser using local storage. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser's settings ("clear site data").
Anonymous scores
When you finish a game, we record an anonymous entry so we can show how your run compares to everyone else who played the same place. Each entry contains only:
- which game you played;
- the borough, county, or nation you led;
- the score (or stage) you reached;
- the date and time it was recorded.
These entries are not linked to you, to an account, or to any identifier, and we don't use them to recognise you across visits. They exist only to power the "how you ranked" feature.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads, which helps keep the games free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
